#8: Fall Of Quality: Point Of No Return

It’s not clear who is to blame for the shoddy demo of “Fall Of Liberty: Turning Point”.
But I would suspect as usual, publisher pressure on the developer – in the form of dictats from bean-counters who wouldn’t know a videogame if it kicked them in the ass – led to a half-finished, underpar game being made.

When publishers realise that they should just leave developers alone to do their work, and not issue release dates and restrictions that then hobble the build process, they may find that the better game coming out of the other end makes them even more money.

Then again, maybe that is asking too much.
